Herman Cain Visits MTSU Amid Controversy
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Republican presidential primary candidate Herman Cain is fending off new allegations of marital infidelity as he prepares for an appearance here in Middle Tennessee.
Cain is scheduled to appear tomorrow evening at Middle Tennessee State University. The MTSU College of Business will host the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO as he speaks to students about turning the failing pizza chain around.
Cain says he’s currently in the process of deciding whether to continue his primary bid following new allegations of infidelity. A Georgia businesswoman has now stepped forward to say she had a 13-year affair with Cain. Cain says he knows the woman but denies the affair.
In a press release, MTSU stressed that the Cain lecture was scheduled months ago and that he will mpt speak to the press.
Cain’s speech begins at 7:30 tomorrow night in the State Farm Lecture Room of the Business and Aerospace Building on the MTSU campus.
