Special Seminar Set at MTSU Nov. 13 for Prospective Teachers

Prospective educators can learn from experts in their field when they attend a special free seminar, “What Do the Best Teachers Do?”, in MTSU’s College of Education this Wednesday, Nov. 13, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Department of Elementary and Special Education is sponsoring the seminar in Room 160 of the College of Education Building on the MTSU campus.

Space is limited, so participants should email Dr. Zaf Khan, an associate professor of education at MTSU, at zaf.khan@mtsu.edu now to ensure a seat at the seminar.

During the event, prospective educators can speak with practicing teachers and principals as well as representatives of MTSU’s early childhood, special education and K-8 programs. Certificates of attendance will be available, as well as free pizza and cookies.

The seminar is open to MTSU students as well as the general public. A searchable campus map with parking notes also is available at http://tinyurl.com/MTSUParkingMap13-14.

For more details on the “What Do the Best Teachers Do?” seminar, email Khan at zaf.khan@mtsu.edu.
