On Thursday, December 19th at First United Methodist Church on West Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro, the Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Christmas concert. This concert will present the Murfreesboro Symphony Chorus in carol settings by John Rutter and Gustav Holst, the Suite from Polar Express, excerpts from the Nutcracker and Alfred Redd’s Russian Chirstmas Music. The MTSU Honors College will welcome countertenor and lutenist Mark Rimple and soprano Julie Ferris as they perform songs in praise of love across four centuries of Western music.
