Arrington Vineyards hosts Music in the Vines every year from April through December. From May through December the events are every Friday 5-9 p.m., Saturday 5-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-6 p.m.

Music in the Vines is a live outdoor jazz event featuring local groups in our vineyard courtyard. Guests are welcome to come out and enjoy the vineyard grounds with family and friends while listening to great music and enjoying award winning wines.

Dallas Starke

New York native, Dallas Starke will pleasantly surprise you with throwbacks to the best jazz eras in history. Her voice has a melancholy compared to Billie Holliday and depth, parallel to great blues singers of past generations. Piano favorite, Steve Willets, and upright bass player, Avent Lane, team up with drummer of choice, Duane Norman, to help her create unforgettable performances. The show will take place at Sambucca on Nov. 24 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

2014 Bill of Rights Celebration

ACLU-TN will be honoring Tom Negri with the Benjamin S. Pressnell Bill of Rights Award at Montgomery Bell Academy on Nov. 19 at 6:30 p.m.

A tireless champion of social justice, diversity and inclusion, Tom Negri’s leadership with campaigns for the fair treatment of immigrants and his commitment to equality and fairness for all have impacted and inspired countless Tennesseans.

Nashville Jazz Jam

Christ Lutheran Church will host a jazz jam on Nov. 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

There are no hidden agendas; Nothing to buy or sell, just MUSIC and kindness.

Bring your instrument, or voice, and any favorite charts you want to play or sing (primarily from the REAL books). 

No cover, but a tip jar is available for the “anchor” players (keys, bass, drums) to make it happen.

Refreshments will be served.
