MTSU’s School of Music will welcome a unique jazz group, the Eastern Boundary Quartet, to campus Friday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. for a free public concert.

Snap on 2&4 with Jeff Hall

On Friday, November 14 at 8 p.m. Snap on 2&4 performance features vocalist Jeff Hall. 

A favorite of Nashville jazz audiences, Jeff is an amazing performer and arranger now located in the Baltimore area. He's been working some on new tunes, and we're excited to have him back in town for a special Snap on 2&4 appearance. 

Jeff has two CD's as a leader, "Let's Face The Music" (2003) and "Get Out of Town" (2008), as well as the debut CD of his Nashville-based jazz vocal ensemble 3rd Coast Vocals. 

A Night at the Cotton Club

Smoky, sultry and swingin’! Enjoy a night uptown as Jeff Tyzik and the Nashville Symphony take a trip back to the heyday of New York’s Cotton Club with this salute to the “Hi De Ho” swing of Cab Calloway and the elegant “Satin Doll” sheen of Duke Ellington.

Straight No Chaser

Straight No Chaser ,a professional a cappella group, is having a show at the Ryman on Nov. 12 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 pm.

SNC originated in 1996 at Indiana University. They became well known in 2006 after a 1998 video of "The 12 Days of Christmas," gained widespread popularity and subsequently led to a five-album record deal with Atlantic Records in 2008. Their video now has been viewed over 17 million times.
