MURFREESBORO, Tenn (WMOT) -- StoryCorps is returning to Nashville for the month of May. The oral history program was last in Middle Tennessee in 2007.
StoryCorps’ mission is to provide Americans of every background with the chance to capture their life stories. Launched in 2003, StoryCorp says it’s now recorded more than 40,000 interviews making it the largest oral history projects of its kind.
StoryCrops spokesperson Rose Kue says she thinks the program has proven popular because it speaks to universal themes.
