(AP) — National Park rangers were trying to rescue an Appalachian Trail hiker in trouble in 4-5 foot snowdrifts left by Superstorm Sandy Friday.</p><p>Two rangers were searching on foot Friday morning, looking for the man in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.</p><p>A park spokeswoman says the hiker used his cell phone to call 911 Thursday afternoon.
