2 unidentified bodies found in Nashville closet

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the slaying of two people whose bodies were found stuffed in a Nashville closet and covered in trash.

Nashville Metro Police spokesman Don Aaron tells local media that the two unidentified bodies of a man and woman were found early Sunday morning.

Investigators believe the victims are 24-year-old Preston Claybrooks Jr. and his longtime girlfriend, 23-year-old Alexandra Grubbs, both of Nashville, whose families reported them missing earlier this week. Authorities said the identities of the bodies had not been confirmed due to severe trauma.

Police are searching for the man who leased the home, 20-year-old Brandon Griswold, as well as his girlfriend, 21-year-old Whitney Gray. Both are wanted for questioning.

Autopsies have been scheduled for Monday to determine the two people's causes of death.
