MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- Murfreesboro Police are investigating a homicide at an apartment complex near the Middle Tennessee State University campus.
Police say one man was shot and killed at around 5 a.m. at the Stonewood apartments on East Clark Blvd. Police haven’t released the victim’s name, pending notification of next of kin.
A police report says a second person received minor injuries during the incident and was taken to St. Thomas Rutherford County.
Reports say the gun believed used in the shooting was found near scene but the gunman is still at large.
Murfreesboro police have roped off the area and are conducting an investigation.
