Amazon Hiring Again in Murfreesboro

amazon.com

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Amazon announced today that its looking to fill 500 more full-time positions at its Murfreesboro fulfillment center.

Amazon says the positions are immediately eligible for health benefits.

New hires will work in Amazon’s massive warehouse on Joe B. Jackson Parkway to pick, pack and ship customer orders as hourly employees.

Rutherford County Mayor Ernest Burgess says its good news for the county’s long-term unemployed.

“Even though our unemployment numbers continue to decline, it’s likely that we’ve got people that have really sort of dropped out of the market, so the more opportunities we have the more potential they have for really finding something that’s constructive and will really benefit them.”

New Amazon employees may also be eligible for other benefits, including a 50% match 401(k), bonuses, company stock awards, and college tuition assistance.

Interested candidates can apply online at www.workatamazonfulfillment.com.
