Amazon says construction at the two sites is on schedule and should be completed on time this fall. The company is taking applications now and will follow up with in-person interviews this summer.

Amazon spokesman Ty Rogers says that the only way to apply for jobs with the online retailer is online.

“We’re accepting applications online at the site www.workatamazonfulfillment.com and there’s information about the jobs and how to apply at that site. We’re hiring for more than a 1000 jobs…jobs with benefits in both Lebanon and Murfreesboro.”

At the March ground breaking for Amazon’s Murfreesboro warehouse, a company spokesman noted that the online retailer plans to invest a total of 350 million dollars in the state and employ about 3500 people.  The Murfreesboro fulfillment center is Amazon’s 5th facility in Tennessee.
