Beegie Adair and Mose Allison Talk in Nashville in 1992

Beegie talks with uniquely talented pianist and singer/songwriter Mose Allison.

We caught up with this Jazz/Blues icon in the spring of 1992, several hours prior to an engagement at the Bluebird Cafe. Join us as the two discuss songwriting, the music business, life on the road and the definition of "Glitzkrieg."

You'll hear some great songs from his 1990 Blue Note album, "My Backyard." That recording was his first ever with a top notch group of musicians based exclusively in New Orleans - super sessionmates including Johnny Vidakovich, Steve Masakowski, Tony Dagradi, Bill Huntington and Bob Malach.
