MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  The Blue Raider Football team is back on the road this weekend against the University of Alabama, Birmingham Blazers.

Middle Tennessee will face UAB Saturday at Legion Field with a 12 p.m. Central Time kickoff, marking the first match-up since 2000.

The Blue Raiders have been one of the nation’s top teams in forcing turnovers, while the Blazers have committed the fewest miscues in C-USA.

Offensively, Middle Tennessee is coming off its finest performance of the season, producing its highest point and yardage total, while setting a new school record for plays. Senior QB, Logan Kilgore, earned C-USA offensive player of the week honors after throwing for 277 yards and four touchdowns, including the game-winner of the final play.

The Blazers will make a change at QB this week, with Jonathan Perry taking over for Austin Brown, after throwing for 209 yards and two touchdowns last week at Texas, San Antonio.

Saturday’s game can be seen on Fox SportsNet and heard on WMOT.
