goblueraiders.com

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (BEASLEY)  --  After the 61-7 route of Savannah State, Middle Tennessee will have to up their game Saturday when they travel to Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers.

Minnesota is coming off an 8-5 season in which they finished 4-4 in the Big 10.

MT last played Minnesota in their home opener in 2010, but lost by the score of 24-17.

As the Blue Raiders look for their first road win of the year, their last out of conference road win dates back to Sept. of 2012 with the upset win at Georgia Tech.

Head coach Rick Stockstill understands his team will face a Golden Gophers team with home field advantage as Minnesota is known for creating a loud environment inside TCF Bank Stadium.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. and pre-game coverage of the Blue Raiders begins at 1:00 p.m. on WMOT.
