MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- For the second time this week Murfreesboro Police are investigating the discovery of a body under unusual circumstances.
Police say that just after midnight they were called to an abandoned building near Molloy Lane where a homeless person was found dead.
The body was discovered by a friend who told police the homeless individual hadn’t been seen in several weeks.
On Monday construction workers discovered a body in Lytle Creek just off Main Street near the railroad tracks.
Police say foul play is not suspected in that case, but the MPD’s Criminal Investigation Division is looking into the circumstances of both deaths.
