Canada is burning and America is choking on hersmoke

Canada's wildfires are sending smoke billowing south, thanks to the jet stream and changes in the location of high pressure systems across the US. All that smoke has led to air quality alerts around the US — from the Pacific Northwest to the Upper Midwest.

FROM THE NEWSROOM: What does the Greek crisis really mean for Europe down the road? Good question.

We'll have two perspectives on that today. The first is from David Francis, who recently wrote in Foreign Policy magazine that the Greek crisis could "signal the beginning of the end of modern Europe." Then, Marco Werman speaks with Beppe Severgnini, a political analyst for the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. Beppe recently argued in a New York Times editorial that, despite the crisis, he's still bullish on a united Europe.
