Centennial High in Franklin Evacuated...Again

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Centennial High in Franklin was evacuated this morning for the second day in a row following a bomb threat.

WSMV-TV says the threat was found scrawled on a bathroom wall.

The evacuation is the latest in a rash of school bomb threats and evacuations since the first of the year.

In addition to Centennial, three other Williamson County Schools have been evacuated following threats this week.

Students at Antioch High in Nashville were sent home yesterday following a threat. Jackson County High School received a bomb threat earlier this month.

Back in March Nashville’s Strattford and Hume-Fogg schools were evacuated on the same day.

A student showed up at a Portland school with a pipe bomb in February. Metro’s Hillwood High received a bomb threat in January.
