WASHINGTON, DC (AP/WMOT) -- Tennessee Senator Bob Corker is one of the few Republicans still talking about health care reform after the GOP failed to repeal Obamacare this past week.
In a press statement, Corker notes that "at some point" lawmakers have to address the costs and availability of health care and says he’s willing to work with the administration and both parties to do that.
Corker reportedly issued the statement after a Friday night conversation with President Trump.
Most Republicans have now shifted their focus to tax reform, the next item on the president’s legislative agenda.
