Davis Helps MTSU Exit Sun Belt with a Bang

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (BEASLEY)  --  The MTSU men's basketball team collected another road win Saturday at Little Rock. It was Middle Tennessee's 12th straight win, the fourth-longest in program history.

The bigger story though, belonged to Middle Tennessee's men's basketball head coach Kermit Davis.

Davis collected his 113th Sun Belt Conference win, passing Ronnie Arrow's previous record of 112.

Davis, a 2-time Sun Belt Coach of the Year for the Blue Raiders, reached the 113 mark in only 11 seasons at the helm.

Davis will look to add to his win total this week when the Blue Raiders play host to South Alabama Thursday, and Louisiana Monroe Saturday.
