"Escort" Ad on Backpage.com Leads to Prostitution Arressts in Murf.

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Murfreesboro Police have arrested three people on prostitution charges after following up on escort ads on the website backpage.com.

Charges of Promotion of Prostitution have been filed against 28 year-old Ashley L. Depina, 27 year-old Anthony D. Hill, and 18 year-old Destany J Anderson. All three list home addresses in Columbia.

The MPD says it followed an ad in the “escort section” on Backpage.com to the Super 8 Motel on Chaffin Place. The ads offered to fulfill the customer’s “every desire” and “wildest fantasies” for $200 an hour.

Police say the ads featured provocative photos, including one that showed two women engaged in a sex act.

When police gained entry to the suspect’s motel room they found numerous used condoms, and a log book detailing the names of customers, along with the dates, times and amounts paid.

All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Rutherford County jail. They’re scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court in October.
