Needing hundreds of employees for their first season in a new ballpark, the Nashville Sounds have added Goodwill to their lineup, hoping for a home run.
The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 780 Berry Road in Nashville will host a job fair from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, for the Nashville Sounds and Centerplate at the Nashville Sounds, which are seeking to fill 250-300 game-day positions at the new First Tennessee Park downtown.
The seasonal positions, which will last through the Sounds 72 home-game schedule from April 17-Sept. 3, include cashiers, food prep, cooks, supervisors, fan hosts, box office, parking attendants and custodial. Pay rates are $7.50-$12 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID, Social Security card or birth certificate.
