MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- The final day to file your 2012 federal taxes is fast approaching. Goodwill of Middle Tennessee is offering to help get your tax return prepared in time to meet the April 15 deadline.
Goodwill’s Shelbyville, Lawrenceburg and downtown Nashville locations will have trained tax preparers on hand 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily through the fifteenth.
The charity's Jamie Berry says they’re happy to help anyone fill out their tax forms.
“The service is free for those who have a household income of less than $57,000. If you have a household income of more than $57,000, the filing of your federal return is only $19,95.”
Berry says an appointment isn’t required, but is recommended.
