DECATURVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A court hearing is scheduled in a dispute about an immunity agreement in the case of missing nursing student Holly Bobo.
According to court documents, a March 6 agreement granted Shayne Austin immunity from various charges, including "all charges arising out of the disposal, destruction, burial, and/or concealment of Bobo's deceased body."
Prosecutors later revoked the agreement, saying Austin wasn't truthful with them. The court documents first obtained by The Jackson Sun indicate Austin could be charged.
Austin's lawyer has filed a breach of contract lawsuit.
Two other men have been charged with kidnapping and murder in the three year-old case.
Bobo was 20 when she disappeared from her family's rural home near Parsons in April, 2011. Investigators say her body has not been recovered.
