Help Locate an Attempted Kidnapping Suspect

MPD

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Murfreesboro Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect wanted for questioning in connection with the attempted abduction of child.

Police want to speak to 25 year-old Eswin Noe Arevalo Alvarado, formerly  of 1446 Bradyville Pike in Murfreesboro.

Officials say that on July 24 Alvarado allegedly grabbed a 14 year-old girl by the arm as she walked along Bradyville Pike. He reportedly tried to pull her into his apartment, but witnesses intervened.

Alvarado fled the area before police arrived. MPD spokesman Kyle Evans says police have exhausted all leads and need the public’s help.

“This subject has a stocky build and is approximately 5’4” with short black hair – possibly with a Mohawk. He has several tattoos, including a star above his heart. He’s known to wear an earing in his left ear. We believe he drives a gray, two-door, Toyota Celica.”

Anyone with information should contact MPD detectives at 615-893-2717.
