For the 2016/17 season, internationally acclaimed Baroque orchestra Tafelmusik will take their distinctive blend of musical excellence, passion and theatrical verve to North American audiences with a new program, The Circle of Creation.
With (fully memorized) works by J.S. Bach, theatrical narration and gorgeous images, The Circle of Creation explores the world of the Baroque craftsmen and artisans who carved violins, hand pulled brass harpsichord strings, tapped pine trees for the resin, and helped Bach realize his genius.

Tafelmusik will premiere The Circle of Creation in their Toronto season this spring, May 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12. (Click here for performance details.) The tour will feature a complement of 22 individuals, with 17 orchestra members, one narrator, and four staff.
