The soccer world was rocked over the weekend by stunning revelations that, well, nobody really finds all that stunning. A UK newspaper says it has email proof that Qatar essentially bought its way to hosting the 2022 World Cup soccer tournament. Some of those accused say the accusations of bribery and gift-giving are "ridiculous."

And back to the King of Spain, or soon-to-be former King of Spain. Juan Carlos I says he's stepping down in favor of his son. We'll take a look back at the man who brought Spain out of Franco era to great applause, only to be hounded by the country's ongoing economic crises, and a series of family gaffes.
