La Vergne Car Dealer Charge with Sexual Battery

RCSO

LA VERGNE, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A La Vergne auto dealer has been arrested on charges of sexual battery.

La Vergne police say they arrested 45 year-old David M. Driggers Tuesday after a 24 year-old female employee accused him of touching her inappropriately.

After detectives interviewed the employee, police charged Driggers with a second count of sexual battery in connection with a similar incident that allegedly occurred earlier in the week.

Driggers was arrested at his place of business, Driggers Auto Sales, located on Old Nashville Highway in La Vergne.

He was booked into the Rutherford County jail and then released on a $5,000 bond.

David Driggers is scheduled to make an initial court appearance in Rutherford County General Sessions Court on June 30, 2014.La
