MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- If you travel through the mid-state along I-24 eastbound this weekend, you should know a bridge repair at Murfreesboro will likely snarl traffic.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation says it plans to repair a damaged overpass at the Epps Mill Road Exit (mile marker 89). TDOT will repair damage caused when a truck struck the overpass.
The repairs will begin at 8 p.m. Friday evening and continue through 6 a.m. Monday morning. Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane.
