Middle Tennessee State University to Host First Annual Music, Dance, and Gaelic Language Workshop

Saturday February 11th will see the first collaborative effort between MTSU and A.I.C.E. The MTSU music department will host the 1st annual music, dance, song and Gaelic Language workshop event. Classess kickoff at 10am with introductions and orientation at 9am. Tutors includeMai Hernonfor traditional Irish singing and Irish set dancing workshops,Éilís Creanon Irish fiddle, Sean and Frances Cunninghamon Irish flute and Irish bouzouki respectively and Tony Davoren, multi-instrumentalist and Irish culture expert. There will be a concert at 7:00 p.m. in Saunders Fine Arts room 101. Concert admission is free for MTSU students/$10 general admission. Workshops start at $40 each.
