Military Training Subject of Upcoming ‘MTSU On the Record’

Military science and training will be the topic of the upcoming edition of “MTSU On the Record” on WMOT-FM (89.5 and wmot.org).

Host Gina Logue’s interview with Lt. Col. Joel Miller, chair of MTSU’s Department of Military Science, will air at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 24, and 8 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30.

Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a master’s degree in history from Tulane University. He has served at Fort Carson, Colo.; in Bosnia; at Fort Stewart, Ga.; in Baghdad, Iraq; and in Hawaii.

Miller’s awards include the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.
