MEMPHIS, Tenn. (BEASLEY) -- Another rivalry game for Middle Tennessee, but the outcome was much different Saturday as the Blue Raiders fell to Memphis 36-17.
The Blue Raiders produced 328 yards of total offense, but two big turnovers were the difference as the Tigers took advantage and never looked back.
Middle moves to 2-2 on the year, and resumes Conference USA play on a short week of preparation as they travel to take on Old Dominion Friday.
This is ODU’s first season playing a C-USA schedule, and the Monarchs have already made their presence known by defeating Rice, the reigning C-USA Champions.
Kickoff is slated for 7:00 p.m. Friday in Norfolk, Virginia and coverage can be heard right here on 89.5 FM, WMOT.
