MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Following a 35-24 loss at Minnesota, Middle Tennessee returns home to Floyd Stadium to take on Western Kentucky in the team’s first Conference U-S-A game.

Western Kentucky, led by senior quarterback Brandon Doughty, is also coming off a lose to Illinois 42-34.

Doughty leads the country with eight touchdown passes, and is second in passing yards (866) and completions per game (37).

Oddly, in the last six games between the Blue Raiders and Hilltoppers, the home team is just 1-5 with the last win dating back to 2009.

This will be Middle Tennessee’s blackout game as the two teams will square off Saturday at 6:00. As always, you can here the game right on 89.5 WMOT.
