MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- A graduate student at Middle Tennessee State University was robbed at gunpoint Thursday night.
Police say 27-year-old Saurabh Kushwaha told them he was approached by two black males while walking along Old Lascassas Rd. north of the campus.
Kushwaha says the men pointed a gun at him and told him “Don’t say a word or we will shoot you.”
He was relieved of his IPhone, backpack, wallet and headphones.
Kushwaha described his attacker as of average height, in their early twenties and wearing dark clothing.
Kushwaha wasn’t injured in the incident.
The case has been turned over to MPD detectives.
