MTSU School of Agribusiness and Agriscience Holds Career Fair March 5 in Tennessee Livestock Center

Who: MTSU School of Agribusiness and Agriscience

What: MTSU Agriculture Career Fair

When: 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 5

Where: Tennessee Livestock Center, 1720 Greenland Drive, Murfreesboro, Tenn. Event will be held in small animal floor area on backside of the livestock center. (See notes below.)

Why: The career fair is an opportunity for MTSU students to connect with recruiters and hiring managers in the agriculture field. Available positions could be full time, part time or internships.

Etc.: Companies or organizations planning to attend include Farm Credit Mid-America, Kroger Manufacturing, Nashville Nursery, Neff Rental, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, Tennessee Farmers Cooperative, the Davey Tree Expert Co. and Tyson Foods Inc., Tennessee State University (graduate program) and U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service.

If coming by way of Greenland Drive, enter large parking lot and drive between barn area on the left and Tennessee Livestock Center office on the right. Turn right. After a short distance, look for any available parking in the vicinity of the backside of the facility.

If coming via Lightning Way, look for an entrance to the livestock center. Available parking should be nearby.
