MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- A student at Middle Tennessee State University says armed intruders pushed their way into his Aspen Heights apartment in late December.
Tedrick P. Smith says on Dec. 22, 2015, he heard a knock at his door. When he opened the door two masked men with guns pushed their way inside.
Smith says he ran upstairs and locked himself in a laundry room until the apartment got quiet. When he came out roughly a $1,000 worth of his belongings were missing.
The police incident report says Smith was so unnerved by the incident he immediately got in his car and drove home to Memphis. Smith says he didn’t return until late January.
The 21-year-old junior Exercise Science major filed a report about the incident with Murfreesboro Police Wednesday.
