Murf. Man Headed to Saudi Arabia Reported Missing

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A Murfreesboro resident who had plans to travel to Saudi Arabia has been missing for more than a week.

A missing person report for 22 year-old Hassan Alsaeed was filed with Murfreesboro Police on Friday.

Ali Alhussain, a friend of Mr. Alsaeed, filed the report. Alhussain told police Alsaeed left Murfreesboro on May 19 on his way by car to Florida where he planned to catch a flight home to Saudi Arabia to visit with family.

Alsaeed’s family contacted Alhussain on Saturday to say that the young man had not arrived as scheduled.  Family members also told Mr. Alhussain that they had not been able to reach Mr. Alsaeed by phone.

Murfreesboro Police visited the missing man’s apartment and checked local hospitals, but no clues as to his whereabouts have been discovered.
