MURFREESBORO. Tenn. (WMOT) -- Murfreesboro Police are investigating a weekend shooting that left one man in critical condition.
Not many details are currently available, but the MPD says 28-year-old Justin Jefferson was shot Saturday night and transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center by Life-Flight helicopter.
Police were called to a home in the 1500 block of Elrod Street near Middle Tennessee State University just after 9 p.m.
There’s no update on Jefferson’s condition.
The case has been turned over to MPD detectives for investigation.
