MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Murfreesboro Police have identified the man found shot in the head Sunday evening as 20-year-old Dreyll Keeley.

Keeley was a second year business major at Middle Tennessee State.

His body was discovered just before sundown near an apartment complex south of campus. Police found a handgun nearby.

Authorities initially called the death suspicious, but now say it’s likely Keeley’s injuries were self-inflicted. Authorities hope to confirm that through an autopsy.

The MPD is asking that anyone with information about the death of Dreyll Keeley to call Crime Stoppers at 615-893-STOP. That’s 893-7867.
