MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- A Middle Tennessee State University student was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon.
Twenty-one-year-old Brock Simon tells police he’d just pulled in at his Campus Crossing apartment on the southeast edge of campus when a black teen approached.
He says the young man first struck up a conversation, then stuck a gun in his face and demanded his money.
Simon told the assailant he had no money, but was forced to give up his IPhone 6.
Simon described his attacker as a dark skinned black male, 18 or 19 years of age, with close-cropped hair.
Simon’s robbery was one of three aggravated assaults reported in Murfreesboro yesterday.
