Murf. woman robbed at knife-point over the weekend

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A Murfreesboro woman tells police she was the victim of an armed robbery Saturday night.

Jessica Underland-Williams tells police she was heading into the Dollar General Store on West Northfield Blvd. at around 11 p.m. when a man came up from behind, pressed a knife against her back, and told her not to turn around.

She says the man took her purse and ran. Williams then turned and was able to get a partial look at her attacker. She described him to police as a black male, with dreads, and wearing a red shirt.

Williams told police that in addition to her purse and credit cards, she was also carrying the day’s receipts totaling more than $1000 from her place of employment.

The incident report says that before he took the purse and ran, the man told Williams that he knew where she lived and that she should not call police.
