MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Murfreesboro Police are reporting three robberies Tuesday night, all within a mile of each other and occurring over about a four hour period.

Around 5 p.m. Tuesday evening 39-year-old Chariot Dr. resident Sergio Valencia-Hernandez says he was robbed at gunpoint by three black or Hispanic males of more than $2,000 as he pulled into his drive.

A little over an hour later the gas station at 1320 Memorial Blvd. was robbed. The cashier says two black males entered the story and gave her a note demanding money. No gun was shown but the clerk was told she’d be shot if she didn’t comply.

Then during the 9 o’clock hour two men robbed McGregor’s Wines and Liquors, also on Memorial. The clerk there says he was shown a note demanding money and the two black or Hispanic men suggest they had a gun, but no weapon was shown. The store says it lost about $400 in cash.

If you have any information about these robberies, call Murfreesboro Crime Stoppers at 893-STOP. That’s 893-7867.
