Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra to Present Sounds of Christmas December 19th

On Thursday, December 19th at First United Methodist Church on West Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro, the Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Christmas concert.  This concert will present the Murfreesboro Symphony Chorus in carol settings  by John Rutter and Gustav Holst, the Suite from Polar Express, excerpts from the Nutcracker  and Alfred Redd’s Russian Chirstmas Music.  Stephan Smith, tenor, will join the chorus and orchestra in I’ll Be Home for Chirstmas and Oh Holy Night.  The concert begins at  7:30 pm.  For ticket information call 898-1862 or log onto  symphony@murfreesborosymphony.
