Murfreesboro Symphony to Present Christmas Concert

The Murfreesboro Symphony will present its Sounds of Christmas concert on December 19 at 7:30 in the First United Methodist Church of Murfreesboro located on 265 W. Thomson Lane in Murfreesbor.

A Murfreesboro holiday tradition with the Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, highlights will include choral settings of carols by John Rutter and Gustav Holst, the Suite from The Polar Express, excerpts from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, Alfred Reed’s Russian Christmas Music, and more. Stephen Smith, tenor, will join the orchestra and chorus for his unforgettable interpretations of I’ll Be Home For Christmas and O Holy Night. Holiday surprises abound at this fun, family-friendly performance!
