Paris Rough Cuts Wednesday July 9, 2014, 6 PM – 7:30 PM John Bragg Building Comm 103

Three films, each about 10 minutes, will be screened.  The students would like input from an audience to see what improvements can be made.  Questionaires will be handed out (please bring a pen), and there will be a brief discussion/comment period with the students after each film is screened.  The entire evening will be about 90 minutes.

THE FILMS:

Artist/designer Pierre-Henry Bor, girlfriend/publicist Sarah Loss

Mayra Cervantes (dir.), Tiffany Murray (DP), artist Pierre-Henry Bor, Will Messerschmidt (Prod.), Lucas Fleming (Sound).

Pierre is a 25 year old fashion designer based in Paris, France.  His style is very elegant and formal.  The doc will see him work, from the inception of his sketches to the finished product and show him as an artist with a passion.

Artist/designer Alice Elia

Richard Adams (Dir.), Justin Carroll (DP), Amber Bradford (Prod.),                 Bing Li (Sound)

Alice Elia is a young fashion designer completing her Masters in Fashion Design.  A budding superstar, she was chosen among hundreds of designers in Paris to

design a dress for the Oscar Red Carpet, which was worn by the wife of “ Titanic” director James Cameron at this past year’s Oscars.

Artist/musician  Jara Ezo

Kelly Rozell (Dir.), Kelsey Price (DP),  Samantha Hearn (Prod.)

Jara Ezo is a self-described Afro-French queen born to rock your world. A singer, dancer, and actress, she lives in Paris but performs everywhere from Morocco to Tokyo. A group of student flmmakers from MTSU followed her for three weeks, seeing a much softer side of the "Dangerous Fighter" than she's portrayed as in her music. This is Jara Ezo.
