Police say naked man fired shots in Murf. condo complex

MPD

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  Police confronted a naked man waving a gun in the air at the Dana Downs condos on Lascassas Pike in Murfreesboro over the weekend.

Police say 22-year-old Cadari D. Lindsey of Hazelwood St. was wandering around the complex waving a pistol early Saturday morning. The incident report says he fired a number of shots, but officers weren’t sure what he was shooting at because he’d just walked out of sight around the corner of a building.

Eleven Murfreesboro patrol officers and detectives responded to the scene. They approached Lindsey when it was clear his gun was empty, but say he refused to surrender peacefully. Officers say they had to use both a Taser and pepper spray to get him into custody.

Lindsey is currently being treated at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital for a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the knee.

Murfreesboro Police say he’ll be arrested when he’s discharged.
