On Wed. March 19, Ken Scott and Brian Kehew will be on campus to discuss "Recording the Beatles at Abbey Road Studios." Their lecture will be at the KUC Theater at 7 pm. It is free and open to the public.
KEN SCOTT is a legendary producer/engineer who has crafted best-selling albums with the Beatles, David Bowie, Supertramp, Elton John, The Tubes and many others during his tenure at Abbey Road/EMI and Trident Studios in London.
BRIAN KEHEW is co-author of RECORDING THE BEATLES, a treatise on equipment and recording techniques used at Abbey Road Studios during the 60s and early 70s. He is an active LA-based recording engineer/producer and keyboard player who has worked with The Who, Hole, The Moog Cookbook and many others.
