Religious Studies Expansion Subject of ‘MTSU On the Record’

The expansion of religious studies at MTSU will be the topic of the next edition of “MTSU On the Record” on radio station WMOT-FM (89.5 and wmot.org).

Host Gina Logue’s interview with Dr. Jenna Gray-Hildenbrand, associate professor of religious studies, will air from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Monday, March 4, and from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, March 10.

Gray-Hildenbrand will discuss the addition of a new tenure-track position in religious studies, which is under the Department of Philosophy. The new professor will begin work in the fall 2013 semester.

A specialist in religion and law in the United States, Gray-Hildenbrand is teaching a class on women and religion this semester.
