First, we take you to the Rwandan capital Kigali, where a week of mourning and remembrance has begun to mark 20 years since the start of the genocide which claimed the lives of more than one million Rwandans. The New Yorker's Philip Gourevitch, who covered the genocide back in 1994, is there to take stock of how the country has and hasn't recovered.
Plus, Indians go to the polls today, and will continue to do so for the next five weeks. Getting more than 750 million voters to the polls is no small task, as we'll hear from the BBC's Yogita Limaye.

For this week's Sideways Glance, The World's Clark Boyd looks back at the first NCAA tournament final, which was held in Chicago in March, 1939. With the world on the brink of war, there was a lot more on those student athletes minds than a good jump shot.
