Rutherford County Judge Accussed of Threatening to "Cut" Bag Boy

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT)  --  A 16 year-old bag boy at a Murfreesboro grocery store is accusing a Rutherford County Circuit Court judge of threatening to harm him.

A police report filed two days after the incident occurred says Judge Larry Brandon allegedly made the threats while checking out at Jr's. Foodland on E. Main March 26.

The bag boy tells police he noticed items in the judge’s bag that hadn’t been paid for. When he brought the items to the attention of the judge and the cashier, the judge reportedly told them he’d purchased the items at another story.

The bag boy and cashier both told police Judge Brandon then threatened to “cut” the boy. The boy alleges the judge made a second threat as he was leaving the store.

No arrests have been made, but the boy’s father says he intends to take out a warrant. Police are continuing their investigation.
