MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WMOT) -- A Murfreesboro man was arrested earlier this week on three counts of sexual exploitation after police say he took three nude photos of a 4-year-old girl.
Middle Tennessee State University campus police say they arrested 22 year-old Robert L. Hunt, of 303 Fairfax Dr., on Monday. Hunt reportedly admitted to taking the photos while babysitting the girl.
Police say the incident took place at the Womack Lane Apartments on the Middle Tennessee State University campus. The child’s mother is a student at the university and was in a relationship with Hunt. She called campus police after reportedly discovering the photos on Hunt’s cell phone.
Murfreesboro police have filed additional charges against Hunt resulting from the alleged distribution of pornographic materials off-campus.
Officials says they don’t believe the child was sexually assaulted and is currently the only known victim.
